The Central Council of Church Bell Ringers (CCCBR) and the Church of England have been working together to promote the work of bellringers and the involvement of bells at our churches and have just launched Bell Sunday - a day dedicating thanks to the work of bellringers and acknowledging the role bells play in the life of church and community. The 144th Annual General Meeting of the Essex Association of Change Ringers will be held on May Day Bank Holiday, Monday 1st May 2023 at 11.45, and will be preceded by a service at 10.30am in Chelmsford Cathedral. Read more
