We are looking for a dynamic individual who has experience of web design and everyday website maintenance.
After many years, Fred Bone, our Webmaster, has decided to step down at the end of year. A huge thank you to Fred for keeping the website up to date with what people send in and supporting developments over that time.
We are looking to update our website and make it more dynamic and user friendly, providing visitors with easy access information whether an existing ringer, or someone wanting to find out how to join in. The Comms & PR workgroup have already been gathering details on what that should look like following feedback from members who completed our questionnaire a few months back.
As well as assisting in the redesign of the site the main role would be to maintain information, update news items regularly and in a timely manner, ensure other relevant information and links are up to date and accurate and manage and maintain mailing lists hosted by the website.
This is an appointed post and as such reports to the Management Committee. The Webmaster is required to attend and submit reports to that committee twice a year.
