The Essex Association of Change Ringers   President: The Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Chelmsford

I regret to announce the death of Owen Webster who was a resident  member of the Essex Association from 1970 to 1990 when he moved to Kent. He rang regularly at St Saviour’s, Walthamstow, St Mary’s, Leyton and then at Waltham Abbey. He served the EACR as Central Council Rep and also as Peal Secretary. Owen was instrumental in starting up the band at Epping in 1986 after they had been silent for around 10 years.
