The Essex Association of Change Ringers   President: The Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Chelmsford

Just over a week to go until the EACR Annual Service and AGM at Chelmsford Cathedral on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May.

Ringing starts at 9.15am, followed by the Master’s invited band for the service touch. The Service is at 10:30am and will be followed by the AGM.

I still have not received any nominations for the post of General Secretary to take over from me, and we still have an Independent Examiner slot free. If you are interested in either of these posts, do let me or the Master know.

We do now have one nomination for Public Relations Officer which is fantastic news, and originally had 6 nominations for the 5 Central Council Rep posts but one of those has now withdrawn, so there will no longer be the need for a vote, but still come along to see which 5 will be representing Essex at the forthcoming Central Council.

Afternoon ringing is being hosted by the Southern District. Details of towers and tea tickets are available from me. Get your orders in as soon as possible so we know how many to cater for. Tickets cost £4.00 in advance, or £4.50 on the day.
