The Essex Association of Change Ringers   President: The Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Chelmsford

The 61st Annual Essex Dinner is now just over 3 weeks away and time is running out to book your place! If you are thinking of joining those who have already booked, either as an individual, a couple or a table of eight, then now is the time to act. Please check with your fellow tower members at your practices or Service ringing this week.

The cost of the Dinner is £35 - I hope you will appreciate that this represents excellent value for money. The evening will take the normal format, gathering at 6.45 for 7.30pm with time to socialise before the meal and speeches. There is time for further socialising afterwards.

To help with the organising it would be very much appreciated if you could book and pay for your tickets at the very earliest opportunity.

The speakers this year are Patrick Wills from Surrey and the Venerable Annette Cooper, Archdeacon of Colchester and a Vice-President of the Essex Association. Patrick is the immediate Past Master of the Surrey Association and is known to many members as he and his partner Kate Desbottes, have attended the Essex Ringing Course for several years.

The booking form can be downloaded from the website here, select your menu choices, add your name and send your completed form, SAE (for tickets) and full payment (payable to ‘EACR’) to Andrew Brewster at the address below. If you wish to pay by bank transfer please ask for details.
