The Essex Association of Change Ringers   President: The Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Chelmsford

It is with great regret that I have to report the death of Philip Hawthorn on 12th October. Philip was Tower Captain at Felsted for many years, teaching many pupils both from Felsted School, where he was a master, and locally. Several members of the current Felsted band were taught by him. Full of enthusiasm and encouragement, he will be missed by us all.

His funeral service will be at Holy Cross Church, Felsted at 11am on October 30th.
