Harold Cuthbert of Norwood Green passed away this week aged 98.He learnt to ring at Great Holland around 1931 shortly after the bells were installed, and rang a peal at Kirby-le-Soken in about 1936.

His mother had been housekeeper to Miss Emma Barron (Barron Bell Trust)
