The Essex Association of Change Ringers   President: The Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Chelmsford

I know we're in the middle of the Olympics and it's really hard to draw yourself away from the great viewing, but could I please just draw your attention to the Essex Country Show at Barleylands on 8th-9th September. Those of you that have helped with this event before now the drill, but it would be great if we could get some new/additional helpers, so please spread the word.

As we have done before, we will use a mini ring and some handbells and I will be putting on a small display. I have secured complimentary show entrance bands for participants, so please don't worry about the cost of admission. I could also use with some help on the Friday evening with assembling the mini ring and display, so if you could help with that too, I'd love to hear from you. If you can just help for a morning or afternoon, that contribution is most welcome.

Last year we had a phenominal success with new recruits, particularly for the Southern District, so if you would like to be there, represent your tower's interests and talk to would-be recruits face to face, this is your chance.

Please let me know asap if you can help, so that I can arrange to get an entrance wrist band to you in plenty of time.
