The Essex Association of Change Ringers   President: The Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Chelmsford

We are sad to announce the death of Ron Brown, who passed away 17th July, just 10 days after celebrating his 100th birthday. Ron was a Life member of Essex Association and past tower captain of Bentley Common and Navestock and teacher of many, many local ringers.

Ron’s funeral will be 11am on 7th August at St Paul’s, Mores Lane, Bentley Common, CM14 5RU, and ringing will be from 10am. For information about the ringing contact Rowena Marshall on 07746 417459.

After the funeral there will be refreshments at Old Brentwood’s Club, Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch. CM15 9SE. All welcome.
