Ron Brown 100th Birthday
Hello Members
A message below for you about Ron Brown from Chris Bailey and Beth Johnson
============================================
Many Southern District members will know Ron Brown and will have rung with him over the years. Ron’s 100th birthday is on July 6th (and his card from the King is on its way)!
Ron is extremely frail, bed bound and very deaf, and is often asleep when we visit. However, when he is awake, Ron will respond to questions and we think he likes to hear news of bell ringing activities. He remains in his home at Winifred Dell Care Home.
We know Ron would appreciate well wishes and cards. He no longer eats regular food, so it’s not a good idea to give chocolates or biscuits which he used to enjoy. If anyone would like to visit, we suggest calling the home first to see how he is - the phone number is 01277 220897 and the address is Essex Way, Brentwood, CM13 3AX. Ask for ’Sandringham’.
We have set up an event on BellBoard titled 'Ron Brown's 100th birthday’ so ringing for Ron can be grouped together.
